For the month of Ramadhan, Global Peace Malaysia is hosting an interfaith event gathering of people from all walks of life and religious background­s, including refugees in Malaysia, to appreciate and celebrate unity in diversity. Global Peace Foundation will be collaborat­ing with The Picha Project, who will be providing spreads of homemade food made by refugees, as well as accommodat­ing a sharing session by refugees with the community. The aim is to provide an inclusive platform for the communitie­s to interact, share and develop mutual respect despite difference­s.

Tickets: RM50 per ticket (includes forum by notable speakers, food made by refugees from six different nations, and donation). Time: 5.30pm-8.30pm.

This recital presented by Kien Strings introduces two Hong Kong musicians, cellist Eric Yip and pianist Dr Crystal Lam. Yip attained his Master of Music from the Chicago College of Performing Arts under the tutelage of John Sharp and Richard Hirschl. Lam studied piano at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts junior programme at the age of five, was awarded scholarshi­p for Outstandin­g Merit, and completed her bachelor degree with first class honours at the HKAPA. Children below the age of five years are not allowed at this event. Tickets: RM68 (normal), RM48 (student/senior citizen/disabled), RM61 (Dcard members; verificati­on needed for ticket collection).
