Fox Movies Premium, Astro Ch 413/HD Ch 433, 10pm Sid, Manny, Diego and the rest of the herd have to fig­ure out how to stop a me­te­orite from hit­ting Earth and killing ev­ery­one in the process. Yeah, that’s ba­si­cally the story of this movie – a bunch of pre­his­toric an­i­mals have to try and stop their own ex­tinc­tion from hap­pen­ing. It’s like the writ­ers aren’t even try­ing to make sense any­more.

Tiger agrees to help her do so, but although he is no stranger to break­ing the hearts of women, do­ing so to May proves harder than he ex­pected. TV9, Astro Ch 119/Hyp­pTV Ch 109, 10.30pm The cocky and ar­ro­gant Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is about to be crowned the new King of As­gard by his fa­ther, Odin (An­thony Hop­kins), but a pair of frost gi­ants crash the party. Egged on by his brother Loki (Tom Hid­dle­ston), Thor storms into the frost gi­ant realm of Jo­tun­heim and tears up the place, spark­ing off a new war be­tween the realms. A fu­ri­ous Odin takes away Thor’s pow­ers and sep­a­rates him from his ham­mer, Mjol­nir, be­fore ban­ish­ing him to Midgard (that’s Earth to us mere mor­tals). Sorry, Thor, no more ham­mer time for you.

He joins old friend Jie and a band of Chi­nese il­le­gal im­mi­grants liv­ing in the shad­owy fringes of Ja­panese so­ci­ety. Forced by cir­cum­stances, Steel­head rises to be­come the new leader of Shin­juku with the help of yakuza boss, Eguchi. Stars Daniel Wu, Fan Bing­bing and Jackie Chan as ar­guably the most un­con­vinc­ing triad boss ever.

Prometheus is about a mot­ley crew of sci­en­tists who travel to a strange alien planet that may, or may not, hold the an­swer to the ori­gins of hu­mankind. There, they en­counter the Engi­neers, the aliens who cre­ated hu­man be­ings. Do they also meet any blood­thirsty, acid-blooded Alien xenomorphs? Sadly, no.
