The base variant E 200 Coupe features the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which outputs 184hp and 300Nm of torque coupled to a 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic transmission. Thenewcoupénowfeatures the two-part, extremely flat LED tail lamps, which in combination with Multibeam LED headlamps celebrate the world premiere of a welcoming function.
The significantly larger footprint is to the benefit of passengers with extra spaciousness and comfort. Rear knee room, front and rear shoulder room as well as rear headroom has added spaciousness.
All E-Class Coupes come with Agility Control suspension with passive, selective damping as standard.
The Dynamic Select system enables the driver to choose different driving modes such as Comfort, ECO, Sport, Sport+ and Individual.
Inside, the E 200 Coupe trim consists of open-pore black ash wood while the E 300 Coupe gets the multi-weave and black piano-lacquer trim.
Additional individualisation for the E 300 Coupe comes courtesy of the Night Package with a host of design details in high-gloss black.
The E 300 Coupe Edition 1 has the same specifications as the E 300 Coupe with a 2.0rbocharged four-cylinder roducing 245hp and mated to a 9G-Tronic nineautomatic transmission. It comes with the added Night package with 20-inch AMG light-alloy wheels in exclusive designo cashmere white magno paint.
The cabin is decked with the Widescreen Cockpit which are two 12.3-inch displays, Touch Control pads on the steering wheel, and a new turbine-style designed front and rear air conditioning vents.
Smart features consists of the COMAND Online system which offers integration of the smartphone into the vehicle’s infotainment system by means of capacitive aerial coupling and wireless charging.
Safety-wise, Active Brake Assist comes as standard which is able to warn the driver of an imminent collision, provide optimum support with emergency braking and, if necessary, also autonomously apply the brakes.
In addition to slower-moving, stopping or stationary vehicles, the E Class Coupe can also detect pedestrians crossing in the danger zone ahead of the vehicle.
