My Champion is a fun educational app for kids.
CHILDREN are imaginative little people. Even at a young age, they have strong opinions on what or who they want to be when they are older. Of course, not all children grow up to do what they dreamed of as kids, but the My Champion app may help them to get on the right track.
Introduced by health supplement brand Champs and chain store Watsons Malaysia, My Champion is a fun and informative app created to encourage children to explore their options when selecting a career.
The app is targeted at kids between the ages of six and 12, who can choose from five featured professions – doctor, athlete, celebrity, pilot and chef.
Once the children select a profession, they will then be asked questions in relation to the field. There are five segments in the quiz, with 10 questions each.
For example, if a child selects “celebrity”, he or she will be asked questions in the music, entertainment, image grooming, fashion and general knowledge categories; or if “pilot” is picked then the questions would be on weather, geography, equipment, tools and aviation.
The players have 20 seconds to answer a question and are given two chances to get it right, and will be awarded 100 points for each question that they answer correctly on the first try or 50 points on the second try.
There is also an educational “Did You Know” trivia that follows each question to give the kids a better understanding of the answers.
But that is not the only interesting thing about My Champion.
Accumulated points from each completed profession stage entitle users to redeem Watsons Malaysia e-vouchers for discounts on Champs products. These e-vouchers are valued at RM3, RM5 and RM8.
Participants will receive one e-voucher for each occupation completed. Users can get discounts on Champs products via online purchases at www.watsons.com.my/ champs by applying the generated e-voucher codes. Only users who sign-in to My Champion with their Facebook account or e-mail address will be eligible to accumulate points.
