Malaysian bag brand Sometime By Asian Designers unveils a new accessories collection.
IT is the exclusivity of little details that often enhances the utility and style of a handbag, as well as the person who carries it. Just take a look at this Sometime By Asian Designers collection.
It comprises a range of products: a key chain, wristlet, passport sleeve and laptop cover, as well as separate access and business card holders.
There are even two new bags offered, which integrate seamlessly with the designs.
“In our fast-paced lifestyle, we have all these little or practical things that we use daily, though important, but tend to go unnoticed,” says co-founder and CEO Stan Chooi, about The Iconic Essentials collection.
“Our head of product, Nicole Wong, who is also my business partner and co-founder, together with the team, wanted to find ways to make these items outstanding and special,” he says.
The material used to produce the collection is termed as “premium synthetic leather”.
It combines synthetic leather with microfibre, and can apparently last as well or better than top grain genuine leather.
Sometime By Asian Designers is also offering a personalisation service with the new collection. With this, owners can get their purchases stamped with letters using foils of gold, silver and more.
“There are nine colours to choose from, but we do not want everyone to have similar items. So how do we ensure exclusivity? Something that you will notice in high-end brands is the opportunity to personalise a product,” explains Chooi.
“Naturally, the personalisation offering is an important component to make us complete as a bag specialist company, giving the same experience our customers can get from luxury designer brands.”
The Iconic Essentials products come in nine colours, and are priced from RM59 to RM189.
Personalisation is priced at RM39 for a maximum of 10 characters, and can take up to 20 minutes.
