Celcom’s new postpaid plans offer more data to its customers.

CELCOM Axiata has introduced two new postpaid plans that offer more data.

The First Gold Supreme, with a monthly RM128 commitment, gives 25GB on weekdays, 25GB on weekends and 25GB free for Video Walla.

And for those who fork out RM188 monthly for the First Platinum Plus, they will get 100GB of data for use on any day, and another 100GB for Video Walla.

“We want to make sure that people get the perfect plan that is catered to their needs. These new plans are targeted at mid to high data consumers,” said Celcom Axiata Bhd chief marketing officer Zalman Aefendy Zainal Abidin.

“The need for data is increasing daily, and these plans provide ade- quate amount of data for them.”

The current First Platinum, for new and existing customers, has also been revised to RM148 monthly with 30GB on weekdays and 30GB on weekends, with an additional 30GB for Video Walla.

All First plans, including First Gold and First Gold Plus, come with unlimited data for WhatsApp and WeChat, as well as music streaming with Yonder Music. You also get unlimited free calls.

From today until Sept 30, those who sign up for First Gold Plus, First Gold Supreme, First Platinum and First Platinum Plus will get a free smartphone. They can choose from nine types of smartphone­s, including Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro, Huawei P10, iPhone 6 32GB and Oppo A77.

First Platinum Plus subscriber­s will also get discounts up to 55% for Samsung S8 and iPhone 7 series.

The telco also introduced the EasyPhone plan which allows any of its subscriber­s to purchase a smartphone from a selection of 30 devices, with monthly instalment­s from RM30 per month.

As all three are MFPs, they come with printing, scanning and copying functions.

The P77760z is an inkjet that prints A4 pages at up to 80ppm (pages per minute). It has a print resolution of up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi (dots per inch) for monochrome and 2,400 x 1,200dpi for colour.

The E82540 monochrome laser printer prints A4 pages at up to 25ppm and has a resolution of up to 1,200 x 1,200dpi.

Lastly, the E77825 colour laser printer has a speed of up to 25ppm for monochrome and up to 25ppm for colour A4 pages. It supports up to 1,200 x 1,200dpi.

As all three enterprise printers are customisab­le, they don’t have a fixed price.

HP also unveiled the Sprocket Photo Printer. This pocket printer produces 2x3in colour printouts with a resolution of 313 x 400dpi.

Users just have to download the HP Sprocket app, available for Android and iOS, to print from their phones and tablets.

The Sprocket is priced at RM599 and comes in three colours – black, white and red.
