FOR those who want to take their athleisure to the next level, one of the new season designer sportswear collaborat­ions is certain to add an injection of luxury to your workout wardrobe. Here we round up our pick of products to look out for this season.

Nike Air Max 97 LX Swarovski

Nike has partnered up with jewelry design house Swarovski to produce a new colorway of its glittering crystal Air Max 97.

Released in black back in Spring and now soon to be available in silver for Autumn, the Air Max 97 LX with Swarovski crystals is the first time NikeWomen has used the luxury crystals on a shoe, as well as the first time Nike has used a precious material on the iconic Air Max 97.

Using Swarovski’s pioneering Crystal Fabric, which contains thousands of the brand’s tiny, uncut crystals, the fabric gives a new shine to the Air Max 97, but with the quality and durability needed for Nike performanc­e.

Pharrell Williams has also collaborat­ed with sports giant Adidas on a new tenniswear collection, Game Set Love. The collection has been inspired by the tennis superstars of the 1970s, with Williams reworking some of their most iconic looks with a fresher design and Adidas technology to produce a bright and fun take on classic tennis whites. For its second collection, luxe sportswear brand Aeance has teamed up with Canadian designer and London Fashion Week alumni Steven Tai. Using the latest high tech and recycled materials, Tai as combined his own modern vision of womenswear with Aeance’s pared-down, minimalist design to produce a range that is sleek, simple and stylish enough to be worn outside of the gym.
