BAC together with Aberystwyth University has launched four versatile degrees that can be completed entirely in Malaysia:
> BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance with Law
> BSc (Hons) Business and Management with Law
> BSc (Hons) Economics with Law
> BSc (Hons) Marketing with Law
These offer a complementary blend of knowledge and highly transferable skills. Students also stand to benefit from a worldclass education that strictly adheres to UK standards of assessment with training of teaching staff facilitated via a staff exchange programme.
Local students will also have access to enhanced learning through online resources, which include the Aberystwyth University library and all study materials that can be accessed via the e-learning group, Aberystwyth University’s online learning environment.
These multi-disciplinary and globally focused BSc (Hons) degrees share a common component – a minor in law, which gives students an understanding of the interrelationship between law and the major component of each degree.
BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance with Law
This course enhances allround knowledge of business, while also helping students develop essential technical knowledge, skills and expertise through practical, real-life application of accounting and finance concepts underpinned by academic theory.
As this programme is accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, Chartered Insurance Institute, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and Malaysian Institute of Accounting, graduates may gain exemptions from professional accountancy examinations.
BSc (Hons) Business and Management with Law
The study of business and management is a structured introduction to the world of enterprise that exposes students to crucial insights into the legal elements that impact both the theoretical and practical dimensions of commerce and management.
BSc (Hons) Economics with Law
Get the best of both worlds with a degree that blends expertise in law and economics. Graduates will develop a thorough understanding of how economies operate in a dynamic legal environment.
BSc (Hons) Marketing with Law
The programme will provide an analytical, integrated and multi-disciplinary study of marketing and its contemporary and potential role within business organisations in the external business environment.
A distinctive aim is to emphasise the role of digital media in marketing communications.
This course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), which enables students to progress towards a CIM qualification concurrently or gain graduate module exemptions.
BAC aims to provide a holistic student experience to produce graduates that are capable of meeting the needs of the future.
The Career Centre @ BAC assists students in obtaining a range of career-related skills. With over 20 clubs and societies, students can participate in more than 300 annual events.
The BAC Education Fund grants Financial and Merit Scholarships of up to RM10mil to assist deserving students.
