Intriguing mix of nature and culture
THE Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) will be participating in the MATTA Fair KL at the PWTC from Sept 8 to 10.
The theme for this MATTA Fair is “Beautiful Japan”.
Ask anyone who has visited the Land of the Rising Sun and they will tell you that it is one of the most exquisite destinations in the world.
The country offers a harmonious blend of beautiful natural surroundings and fascinating centuriesold cultures.
From subtropical beaches to snowy mountains and futuristic skylines to ancient temples, you will find that Japan is a beautiful country that has more to offer throughout each of its four seasons.
After the hot, humid and sticky summer season in August comes the cooling season of and also, the welcoming of the New Year.
But one of the unique winter activities that you must try while in Japan is bathing in an outdoor hot spring known as the “onsen”.
Soak in soothing hot mineralrich water for a relaxing bath while snow falls all around you for a truly unforgettable experience.
This year, JNTO is bringing beautiful Japan to life with a particularly stunning decorative object that best represents the traditional Japanese culture – the “wagasa”.
It is a traditional Japanese umbrella made of bamboo and the equally famous Japanese paper known as the “washi paper”.
JNTO’s booths will be decorated with “wagasa” in traditional patterns to create the most beautiful effect, weaving a little magic to charm visitors with the beauty that is Japan.
During the fair, a mystery gift will be given to visitors who take part in JNTO’s questionnaire survey and click “like” on its Facebook page.
Produce a copy of the booking receipt to redeem your choice of gift, while stocks last.
In addition, visitors may also stand a chance to bring home an additional gift at the “Shake & Win” lucky draw during redemption.
So, come and visit JNTO at Booth No.11611184 (Hall 1) at PWTC this MATTA Fair to find out more about beautiful Japan and the endless discovery that awaits you.
