GENTING Cruise Lines is set to launch World Dream, Asia’s newest luxury cruise ship from Dream Cruises this November at her dual homeports in Hong Kong and Guangzhou (Nansha) to continue to grow the Pearl River Delta cruise industry and provide fly/cruise options for the region with new itineraries to Vietnam and the Philippines.

Dream Cruises’ newest addition, World Dream has been conceived as a floating high-end, integrated resort at sea leveraging on the parent company – Genting Hong Kong’s core expertise in both land and sea-based businesses.

“Genting Cruise Lines is reinforcing our position in the Pearl River Delta Region by welcoming World Dream to begin her service with dual homeports in Guangzhou (Nansha) and Hong Kong, following in the footsteps of Genting Dream previously,” said Genting Cruise Lines President, Kent Zhu.

“Designed to cater to the growing Chinese market with tailormade facilities including quad occupancy staterooms to accommodate family travellers, World Dream will further build upon our ongoing commitment to this region which has seen Guangzhou (Nansha) evolve into China’s second busiest port and the strengthening of Hong Kong as a premier fly/cruise hub.”

Upon her launch, the brand new ship will take guests on a tropical and cultural journey in Asia with specially designed voyages taking in sun-drenched, popular destinations to alleviate the winter blues – 6D/5N cruises to Manila and Boracay in the Philippines from Nov 17 this year to March 31, 2018 will alternate with 6D/5N journeys to Ho Chi Minh and Nha Trang in Vietnam from Dec 3, 2017 to Oct 14, 2018 to provide tantalising options for both local and international guests.

Her twin sister ship Genting Dream, meanwhile will be deployed at her new homeport in Singapore with new itineraries to North Bali and Surabaya in Indonesia, as well as Kuala Lumpur and Penang in Malaysia and Phuket in Thailand.

“By doubling Dream Cruises Fleet with the addition of World Dream, we are delighted to be offering our guests and valued travel partners diverse itineraries featuring new, authentic destination experiences,” said Dream Cruises President Thatcher Brown.

Tropical journey in Asia

World Dream’s new itinerary to Vietnam explores the rich cultural heritage of Ho Chi Minh City with its distinctive French colonial architecture and café loungers.

Guests will also go on an enthralling discovery of Nha Trang, a beautiful city located along the Southern Central coast of Vietnam and named as “One of the 29 Most Beautiful Bays in the World” by Travel+Leisure Magazine for two consecutive years.

World Dream will also transport guests on an exotic island expedition in the Philippines stopping at the bustling capital city of Manila before heading to Boracay in Northwest of Panay. Voted consistently in the industry as one of the best islands in the world, Boracay is famous for its magnificent coastline and white sand beaches.

Luxurious all-inclusive concept for Dream Palace

Dream Palace, the signature, exclusive ship-within-a-ship experience across the Dream Cruises fleet, will be offering additional suites exclusively for World Dream guests to meet the growing demand for more luxurious accommodations.
