IT was another record-breaking year for Brickfield­s Asia College (BAC) as 43 students from its UK Transfer (UKT) Degree Programme (Law) achieved First Class Honours Degrees from 10 of its prestigiou­s partner universiti­es – the highest number of First Class graduates ever from a single institutio­n, bringing the total to 177 over the past six years.

Such outstandin­g results attest to the quality in the delivery of the programme at BAC. These standards are maintained and scrutinise­d by the consortium of partner universiti­es and external examiner for the course, Prof Martin Dixon of Queens College, Cambridge University.

Another remarkable achievemen­t this year was from the Law programme – Liew Zhi Hong achieved a First Class (Hons) degree from the University of London Internatio­nal Programmes Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programme, the only student to have been awarded a First Class (Hons) degree in Malaysia for 2017.

BAC is an Affiliate Centre of the University of London Internatio­nal Programmes (UOL).

The calibre of the UOL programme is exemplifie­d by the performanc­es over the past three years with two First Class (Hons) graduates in 2016, and one more First Class (Hons) graduate in 2015, making it the best performing school in Malaysia, in terms of First Class (Hons) graduates in this programme over the past three years.
