He spent more than three decades in various parts of the world and is a recognised expert on infectious diseases in children.
With more than 25 years of experience in teaching, research and industry, Dean of the Faculty of Integrative Sciences and Technology Assoc Prof Dr Yagasena Appannah is a pioneer member of USM research team on Satellite Signal Propagation under the POST-PARTNERS programme in collaboration with Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, Japan.
Centre for Graduate Studies and Research Director Assoc Professor Dr Vilasini Pillai, who is also the head of Biotechnology, has more than 30 years of experience in Agriculture Biotechnology and Science and Technology-related policies and regulations, having worked in the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute in the area of genetic engineering of crop plants.
QUIP also has academicians in engineering, computer science and the foundation programmes who are experts in their fields.
