GUESTS were dressed to the nines as they flocked into the ballroom of the Royale Chulan Damansara hotel in Petaling Jaya on Oct 5. The reason?

Captains of the automotive industry and their representatives were eager to find out which car models would win at the CarSifu Editors’ Choice Awards 2017.

Car brands in the running were from BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Isuzu, Jaguar, Kia, Lexus, Maserati, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Porsche, Proton, Renault, Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo and WeststarMaxus.

During the evening, guest-ofhonour Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai presented the awards to the winners in the presence of Star Media Group group managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai.

Honda CR-V 1.5 TC-P (2WD) won the “Car of the Year” award.

Boustead Petroleum Marketing and Silverstone Marketing are Star Media Group partners in the awards and the Oct 25-29 auto show at Mid Valley Mega Mall, Kuala Lumpur.
