Inclusion of international curriculum – For added exposure in English, mathematics and science subjects

SKIS was established in 2011 as an option for parents seeking an international curriculum for their children.

The school offers students the United Kingdom’s national curriculum for Years 1 to 9, the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) for Years 10 and 11, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for Years 12 and 13.

SKIS upholds Sri KDU Schools’ objective of providing holistic learning and is anchored to

Sri KDU Schools’ strong focus on personal development and pastoral care, encouraging every student to grow and develop in a balanced manner.

SKIS was recently awarded gold accreditation in the Education Development Trust’s (formerly CfBT) International School Quality Mark (ISQM).

The ISQM verification inspection is a recognised school accreditation for international schools, providing objective assurance that the school meets rigorous quality standards.

The gold accreditation, which is the highest status attainable, is awarded when a school produces outstanding results in standards and achievements, teaching and learning, and leadership and management.

SKIS is the first school in Malaysia and one of only three schools in Asia to achieve the gold accreditation of ISQM.

SKIS is also a member of the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA), under which SKIS students can participate in a wide range of competitive arts and sports with students from other schools in Asia.

Sri KDU Schools’ fully equipped campuses are designed to provide a safe learning environment for students.

Experienced, dedicated teachers undergo annual training to give students a holistic education experience with a focus on character building and leadership qualities.
