WANT haircare products without silicones, parabens and colourants?

The new Botanicals Fresh Care by L’Oreal Paris is a haircare range without these baddies and the shampoo bottles are 100% recycled and recyclable.

Botanicals is dedicated to crafting luxurious haircare products infused with botanical ingredients.

Botanicals Fresh Care comes in four variants to treat different hair conditions – Camelina, Coriander, Geranium and Safflower.

Each variant comprise of a shampoo, conditioner, mask and a leave-in treatment.

Grown in the French region of Vendee and harvested only once a year, Camelina is a biodegradable oil, and the oil extracted from its seeds is rich in Omega 6 and 9, and helps smoothen unruly hair.

Coriander, which is rich in Omega 6, strengthens fragile hair with its precious extracts in featherweight textures that reinforce brittle hair.

Using a precise distillation process, the essential oil is extracted from the buds of Geranium which helps restore vibrancy to dull or coloured hair.

Inspired by ancient Egyptians who prized safflower oil as a nourishing ointment, the brand infused this biodegradable and renewable oil, rich in lipids, in creamy textures to deeply moisturise and nourish dry hair.

According to the brand, at every step of development, each maker, farmer, botanist and scientist applies their passion and expertise to find some of the finest botanicals in the world to create high performance formulations.

The raw materials are sourced from Europe and the brand chooses the right botanical actives in concentrated doses.

Botanicals Fresh Care was created by L’Oreal Paris in an effort to source for finer ingredients of natural origin, more sustainable processes and more delightful textures. – Sandra Low
