THE new Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite is targeted at busy individual­s who are always on the go.

“Our research shows that people want a tablet that gives them the best experience, and yet is light and compact for their travels,” said Huawei MRO device department product expert Patrick Chew.

Weighing only 310g and with a 7.5mm thickness, users can hold the tablet with just one hand.

The M3 Lite has an 8in screen with a full HD resolution, and ClariVu feature which minimises exposure to blue light to prevent eye fatigue.

Kardon dual stereo speakers are expected to deliver rich, low distortion and immersive sound.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435, the M3 Lite has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory.

It also has 8-megapixel cameras on the front and back. “Although users can take photograph­s with the tablet, the cameras are geared towards providing better quality video calls,” said Chew.

The Split Screen feature allows users to perform tasks simultaneo­usly, while Twin App lets users to log into two accounts at the same time.

Its 4,800mAh battery reportedly provides about 600 hours of standby battery life, 40 hours of music playback time and nine hours of video playback time.
