I AM honoured to be the recipient of the Putra Personality of the year award. It is a wonderful recognition and acknowledgement not only for myself but for Team EcoWorld, without whom all this would not have been possible. The hard work put in by the team over the last four years that we’ve been in business has made many things possible. I believe we’ve managed to build a strong brand from the very beginning and industry recognition like Putra Brand is a reaffirmation of the Group’s commitment in keeping to our vision and values. Industry recognition is also a great boost for the team who have worked tirelessly to ensure the EcoWorld brand is up there amongst the best.
We’ve set high targets for ourselves right from the beginning. The management team may have decades worth of experience combined when we first started EcoWorld but one cannot live on reputation alone. We needed to prove ourselves again that we could still be a market leader, not just by repeating our previous success formula but by doing things better.
At EcoWorld we are constantly improving, innovating and challenging ourselves not only to be different but to be better.
We take a holistic approach to our brand. It’s not only important externally but internally as well. Whilst keeping up good customer service and product quality keeps the brand in good stead publicly, internally it is also important that the team believes wholeheartedly in the brand and embraces the values it stands for us to build a strong name.
One has to walk the talk and mean it. Stay true to your word, have integrity and keep to promises made.
