As we move into an era of globalisation, brands have to strategise to ensure digital marketing is part of their communication efforts to reach a certain target market. Millennials and Gen Z are the nation’s largest living generation that have grown alongside with the advancement in technology and have a strong purchasing power. To keep a brand relatable to them, marketers have to position its brand with a unique personality on their digital platform that can allow people to interact and engage when they see a post from a brand.

Despite being one of the best performing countries in Asean, Malaysians are still worried about the volatility of the economic state. Coupled with the rising price of consumer goods, consumers are more prudent on their spending and saving for rainy days. However, consumer sentiments index are slowly picking up lately despite the sluggish economic condition and subsequently indicating a climb in consumers’ spending intention.

Given the tightening of consumers’ spending power and a competitive market landscape, brands have to acknowledge the importance of delivering its brand promise to consumer. Our brand constantly emphasise on ‘Baked with Love’ where we believe it’s the core of our business - to deliver the best biscuits with the best ingredient to all. We are looking into promoting our brand at the retail level and through various digital platforms to engage and reach targeted audience via multiple touch points in the coming months.

We are going to create interesting content that will integrate PR and digital marketing activities that will help elevate our brand’s image at a global level. We hope we are able to create a strong brand image that will influence purchasing decision and exists in the mind of the consumer whenever someone mentions its name.
