WHAT are the things to consider when you shop for a new dining table? The three most common things are the size and shape, a suitable design concept and, perhaps more importantly, the type of material used in the construction.

Quartz stone, being in the region of around 7 Mohs is one of the hardest material suitable for dining tops after marble (3-4 Mohs) and granite (6.5 Mohs). Thanks to its natural hardness, quartz stone is regarded as a superior material selection for tabletops.
