Founded in 1995 by three siblings, Faisal Fadzil and his sisters Faridah and Fauziah, Tanamera started off in a small makeshift factory with a dream of a “natural business”.

Tanamera means “red earth” in Malay, reflecting their range of products that are made from raw materials sourced from rich and luscious tropical rainforests.

The products are created based on Asian tropical spa treatments and is conveniently packaged to be used at home, while travelling, or for use in professional spas.

Tanamera at the Starling Mall is a retail and spa outlet where customers can shop for the spa products and indulge in the brand’s signature spa treatments.

The brand’s Massageworks offers different massage techniques to help your body rebalance, rest and be restored, and the four massages offered are Holistic, Malay Traditional, Aromatherapy and Neck and Shoulder.

Tanamera Faceworks offer facials using freshly ground natural botanical ingredients to promote clear, hydrated and supple skin. There’s also the Traditional Facial, Aromatherapy Facial and Tanamera Facial.

Other services available include foot spa session, body scrub and body wrap, body herbal compress, post and prenatal massage and treatments.

According to the brand, the products are free from artificial colouring, perfumes, chemical actives and preservatives. – Sandra Low
