With the holidays just around the corner, what better way to keep warm than with a Christmas sweater? It may not be the season’s most glamorous attire, but so what? The Christmas sweater is bang on trend and is the perfect match for dark jeans, a pencil skirt or a pleated skirt. Here’s a pick of holiday sweaters to bring a dose of festive cheer.
Snug selection
Asos has a wide selection of Christmas sweaters, from comedy motifs to cozy winter warmers, in different colors and with sizes for all the family. The “Holiday Sweater with Fluffy Tree Design” is a snug sweater with a soft-touch knit and a fluffy texture. The navy blue sweater – available in men’s and women’s sizes – features a festive tree and snow motif that’s perfect for the season.
Swedish clothing giant H&M is also in the holiday mood with a navy blue, red, white and gray sweater with a “Merry Christmas” slogan surrounded by holiday-themed motifs. Also available in light gray and light beige, the “Jacquard-knit Sweater” with alpaca wool has a ribbed neckline, cuffs and hem.
Sporty style
This year, various sports teams have their own holiday-themed sweaters on the market. The French soccer club Paris SaintGermain – aka PSG – has a “PSG Christmas Jumper – Reindeer with 3D Pompom” in adults’ and kids’ sizes, featuring a 3D pompom on the reindeer’s hat. Evidently, it comes in the colors of the Parisian club.
Keep it chic
