‘TIS the time of giving as Cheras LeisureMall kicks off the season with “A Joyous Christmas Musical”.
The mall transforms into a musical wonderland with Christmas trees bedecked with ornaments and intricate musical elements decorating every corner.
Melodious Christmas carols will also enchant the atmosphere, complete with a family of happy, music-loving bears greeting shoppers.
Cheras LeisureMall will also hold its annual Toy Bank, A Gift of Love programme, where all are invited to give and share with children in need.
It is the best time to create unforgettable Christmas memories for over 600 children from 12 charity homes, in the festive spirit of warmth and happiness.
To take part, shoppers pick a Wish List Card at the Toy Bank located at the Ground Floor Concourse, prepare the gifts on the list, and drop those together with the Wish List Card back at the Toy Bank, from now till Dec 25.
Shoppers can also contribute household necessities like rice, biscuits, condiments, bottled cooking oil, toiletries, school reference and exercise books.
The Gift Presentation Ceremony will be held Dec 30 at the Lower Ground Concourse.
Participating charity homes include Da Ci Jiang Tang, ElShaddai The public can help fulfil the wishes of children from charity homes – select a ‘Wish List Card’, prepare one or more gifts and deposit them along with the card at the Ground Floor Toy Bank.
Refugee Learning Centre, House of Joy, Living Hope Global, Malaysian Association for the Welfare of Mentally Challenged Children (IQ70plus), Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Mary KL, Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Istimewa Insan, Pusat Penjagaan KanakKanak Cacat Taman Megah, Rumah Victory Children and Youth Home, Home for Special People, Cheras, United Learning Centre, and Rumah Shalom.
Cheras LeisureMall has also collaborated with Yue Shan Music Academy Charity Organisation to
support the children’s musical aspirations by collecting musical instruments from the public to be gifted to them.
Shoppers can contribute instruments that are still in good, playable condition to help these children explore their talents and realise their musical ambitions.
The mall will launch its exciting “Shop Away & Win A Getaway” contest where shoppers can win a dream holiday to Sydney, Shanghai, Chiang Mai, Kuala Lumpur, Penang or Johor Baru.
Shoppers will only need to spend RM300 in two accumulative receipts, complete the entry form, and then submit the entry form attached with the receipts at the Lower Ground Information Counter from now till Feb 28, 2018.
All overseas trips include a 4D/3N luxurious stay at Shangri-La hotel, while the local trips include a 2D/1N stay at Shangri-La Hotel (Kuala Lumpur) or Hotel Jen (for Penang and Johor Baru).
Lucky winners will also receive a premium Centurion luggage each and stand a chance to win even more when they post on their social media.
Contest winners will be announced on March 15.
