DECEMBER means holidays and Christmas, exchanging of gifts, parties and feasting. To commemorate this joyful occasion, Royale Chulan Damansara is lining up a string of exciting promotions and activities at its restaurants to help spread the season’s goodwill and cheer.
The essence, warmth and flavours of Christmas begins with a special Christmas Afternoon Tea at The Harlequin Room from Dec 19 until 31, which comprises a spread of sandwiches, cakes and scones as well as pastries and cookies at RM60 nett per person.
The celebration continues with a special Christmas Eve feast at The Royale Coffee House, which offers Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner featuring Western and local cuisine at RM138 nett for adults and RM75 nett for children (four to 12).
Dinner starts from 6.30pm to 10.30pm with a complimentary glass of mocktail.
In addition to a buffet dinner, there is also an exquisite six-course Western set dinner with a complimentary glass of house wine for only RM175 nett per person.

On Christmas Day, treat your loved ones to a Hi-Tea Buffet Brunch filled with gastronomic delicacies. You will be spoilt for choice with a delicious array of appetisers, soups, salads, main courses and desserts.
The Hi-Tea Buffet Brunch will be served at The Royale Coffee House from 12.30pm to 5pm and is priced at RM100 nett for adults and RM50 nett for children (four to 12 years).
Celebrate Christmas with the special roasted whole turkey with sautéed car- rot, chestnut puree, cranberry and giblet sauce at RM345 per bird, roast whole lamb leg with lyonnaise potato sauteed carrot, mint sauce and choice of black pepper, mushroom or rosemary sauce at RM275 and also roasted beef sirloin – black Angus beef striploin with sautéed carrot, Lyonnaise potato, mustard and choice of black pepper, mushroom or rosemary sauce at RM245.
The promotion runs from now until Dec 31. Reservation must be made three days in advance.
Don’t forget to check out the Christmas confectionery masterpieces crafted by the hotel’s award-winning pastry chef at the Royale Bakery Shop.
Treat your taste buds to the freshest cakes and cookies such as fruit cake, Christmas pudding, gingerbread man, gingerbread Santa, panettone, mince pie and choice of cookies vanillekipferl, mailaenderli, brunsli, basler leckerli and cinnamon star.
To spread the Christmas cheer, the hotel will feature Christmas carollers who will sing all-time Christmas favourites.
Sing along with them on Christmas Eve from 8pm to 8.30pm at The Royale Coffee House and if you miss them, you may catch them again at Asam Pedas Restaurant, The Curve from 9pm onwards.
In the spirit of Christmas, the hotel is organising a Christmas Charity Campaign for disadvantaged children. You are invited to contribute generously to its Christmas Tree by purchasing a Candle Of Hope Christmas wish card at a minimum RM10. All proceeds collected will be contributed to a children’s home.
