Collaborating in style
Neelofa comes out with a clothing line with FashionValet.
ENTREPRENEUR and actress Noor Neelofa Mohd Nor has teamed up with online shopping portal FashionValet to come out with a clothing line.
Neelofa isn’t a stranger to the world of fashion, her scarves brand Naelofar Hijab is one of the most popular brands in Malaysia.
The collaboration comes as no surpriseasshewas FashionValet’s first ambassador back in 2012 and has been one of their biggest supporters. FashionValet also carries Naelofar Hijab.
“Neelofa and I have been wanting to collaborate on a collection for the longest time and I’m so glad it’s been put into fruition. Finally! She’s been a good friend of FV’s and mine since the very beginning. We had a lot of fun in the design process and worked very closely together on that,” commented Vivy Yusof, co-founder and chief creative officer of FashionValet in a press release.
The Neelofa x FashionValet collection which came out Dec 15 consists of 11 designs of bottoms and tops. The designs are very much based on her personal style – modest, versatile and sophisticated.
The looks are wearable and although there are matching sets, you can also choose to mix and match the pieces.
These include wide-legged pants with ruffles, blouses with side draping and wrap tops with embellishments.
The theme is mainly nautical, and colours range from darker shades to soft pastels. There’s also a wide range of sizes from XS to XXL.
