RECENTLY, we asked Starchild readers to submit their letters on the topic, Gadgets. Let’s hear what they have to say.
Nine-year-old Nicole Ong Hui Ting thinks gadgets are amazing. “My favourite gadgets are phones, electric toothbrushes and televisions. Phones are used to communicate, surf the Internet, snap photos and make videos. Electric toothbrushes are useful for the elderly. Smart TV is a gadget for entertainment.”
Natalie Ang Xin Yan, six, says: “My gadget is a smart robot named Frozen. It can help me do everything I’m lazy to do. She is the best in this world.”
“I hope to create several tech gadgets like a smart watch that can protect children from kidnappers, special UV glasses, funky hoverboards, and helicopters with horizontal stub-wing pods,” says Muhammad Zikri Ooi Md Husaili, 10,
L. Sharveneswaran, seven, says: “I want to come up with an interactive portable computer that can educate children about nature.”
“My hybrid robot runs on solar energy. Its eyes can shoot laser beams and snap photos. It can run and jog for over an hour,” says Ang Jia En, 10.
Christopher Chong, eight, wants to create a security robot. “My robot will be able to protect my house from robbers and thieves. It has high tech security weapons and gadgets.”
