My perspective
I’m eleven and this is how I feel
About life and everything that is and isn’t real
Like movies that make me cry buckets of tears Or newspaper articles that unleash my fears
What I see and think may be different from you
Well, that’s because we both have a different point of view
I see people littering and that makes me mad
I hear about child abuse and that makes me sad
I would like to make this a peaceful place to live
If a genie gave me three wishes, that’s what I would wish for In my mind, I’d donate for a cause
And bandage injured animals’ paws
I live to care, to give, to love But sometimes I don’t do enough Humankind is selfish and greedy Rarely willing to help the needy
Kind acts are hard to find these days But I try to do them in my own ways A kind heart is much better than gold Better than all the money in the world.
