Outlander 2.4L made locally

THE new locally-assembled Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4L sport utility vehicle (SUV) has been launched, priced at RM155,000 (on-the-road with GST without insurance).

Three colours are available, namely Ruby Black, Red Metallic and Solar White.

Ruby Black is a new colour for the Outlander and is exclusive to Malaysia.

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) is giving a Chinese New Year promotion with discounts of up to RM4,000 for the Outlander.

The Outlander comes with MMM’s two years free maintenance and a factory warranty of five years with unlimited mileage and is sold alongside the locally-assembled Outlander 2.0L, recently introduced in September last year.

Power comes from a 2.4-litre DOHC MIVEC engine with 167PS and 222Nm of torque, paired with an INVECS-III CVT transmission, paddle shifters and an intelligent 4WD system.

Other features include seven airbags, 18-inch alloy wheels, twotone wheel design, an aerodynamic rear spoiler, auto dimming rear view mirror, digital video recorder and LEDs for the front, rear and daytime running lights.

A 7.0-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay functionality allows for seamless connection between an iPhone and the SUV.

The screen also comes with Air Gesture Control for added convenience.

Security and solar films are added for extra safety and privacy.
