Activities galore for shoppers
ATRIA Shopping Gallery ushers in the fruitful Year of the Dog with an abundance of activities for shoppers including Chinese New Year Folk Dance, Spectacular Acrobatic Show, Acrobatic Lion Dance, LED Lion Dance, Lion Dance and Walkabout and God of Prosperity appearances as well as many redemption programmes to reward its shoppers.
To showcase the Year of Abundance, the mall’s decorations encompass a literature and art patio full of cherry blossoms, a “Scholar Bridge” that represents intellectual discourse and success for 2018 and a wheel of love that represents the lifelong relationship of each couple.
A scented pavilion with a Chinese checkers board lets shoppers experience art. The festive feel is further enhanced with poetry and painting of art décor, intricately woven through the huts, art painting courtyard and lotus pond, all harmonising abundance and warmth.
“We want to make CNY shopping a rewarding experience for our shoppers,” said Atria Shopping Gallery senior marketing manager Koay Poay Shin.
Shoppers can also redeem the Fortune teapot set with cups and ang pow packets starting from now till Feb 18.
The first hour of parking in Atria is now free while the second hour will be free with a minimum spending of RM50 in a maximum of two same-day combined receipts.
Extra rewards
Starting from now till Feb 18, shoppers who spend a minimum of RM688 (RM588 and above for Atria Friend and Junior members and RHB card members) in a maximum of two same-day combined receipts are entitled to redeem an exclusive Fortune teapot set with cups and one pack of ang pow packets at the Concierge Counter, Concourse Floor.
There will be two redemption time slots daily, first from noon onwards while the second session starts from 8pm till closing time.
This redemption is limited to the first 30 redemptions per session on weekdays and first 60 redemptions per session on weekends and public holidays.
Shoppers who spend a minimum of RM138 and above (RM88 and above for Atria Friend and Junior members and RHB card members) in a single receipt will be able to redeem exclusive Atria prosperity ang pow packets.
Similar to the Fortune teapot set redemption, the first redemption session will start at noon while the second session starts at 8pm.
This redemption is limited to first 50 redemptions per session on weekdays and first 70 redemptions per session on weekends and public holidays.
All the redemptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to terms and conditions.
The Atria Grand Draw is also back, by popular demand, to encourage shoppers to experience the wonder of shopping in Atria.
With a minimum spend of RM80 in a single receipt at any outlet in Atria, shoppers stand a chance to win a brand-new Honda Jazz, Royal Brunei Flight Tickets, Swiss Garden Hotel stays or Atria Gift Vouchers worth more than RM100,000 in total.
Contest winners will be announced on April 15 at 3pm at the Ground Floor Centre Court.
Shopping heaven
Atria also offers a variety of tenants and household names at its Chinese New Year Bazaar 2018, located at Ground Floor Centre Court. Shoppers can snap up home decors, souvenirs, hampers, cheongsam pieces, cookware and home appliances at the bazaar starting from now to March 4.
As Valentine’s Day falls within the same season, shoppers can snap a creative photo with their beloved at The Wheel of Love, located just next to the CNY stage and stand a chance to win an exclusive bag sponsored by Pepper’s Bag.

Festive activities
Shoppers are invited to join the series of activities lined up at the Ground Floor, Centre Court from now till Mar 3.
These include a calligraphy contest, meeting up with selected celebrities, Mrs Malaysia audition and semi-finals, a blood donation by University of Malaya, the God of Prosperity walkabout, various lion dances, acrobatic shows and seasonal festive workshops for kids.
