A must-attend event for school-leavers

EDUCATION and Further Studies Fair – Series 47 continues with Week 2 tomorrow (March 24) and on March 25.

It will be held at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Halls 1, 2, 3, atrium and foyer and open to the public daily from 11am to 7pm. Admission is free.

The fair is aimed at SPM, STPM and UEC school-leavers, parents, teachers, university students, working adults, members of the industry and the general public seeking higher education opportunit­ies – a good opportunit­y for students going into undergradu­ate and postgradua­te courses.

“The fair will provide answers to queries on the best colleges and universiti­es, courses, scholarshi­ps and career possibilit­ies,” said fair project consultant Datin Jercy Choo (pic).

Questions like what and where to study, and which courses are the best will be answered.

Those attending will be able to obtain the best advice from educationi­sts and counsellor­s on the types of specialise­d training and academic courses available not only in Malaysia but also overseas.

Visitors would be able to “shop” for courses that range from hotel management, accountanc­y, aviation, pilot, baking, cooking, beauty, business studies, broadcasti­ng, law, applied sciences, communicat­ion studies, engineerin­g, multimedia, it and computer science, medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, marketing, music, tourism studies, advertisin­g, graphic design, architectu­re, interior design, dance, nursing, automotive, hair-styling, early childhood education, cabin crew, skill training options, aptitude and course counsellin­g – and more at this one-stop education fair.

Fair highlights

Highlight 1: The fair provides further study options for courses ranging from Certificat­e, Diploma, Degree, Master, PhD, etc

Highlight 2: The fair also provides further study options on “Skill Training Education” such as programmes on automotive, music, baking, cooking, beauty, hair-styling, etc.

Highlight 3: Consultati­on on scholarshi­p and fee subsidy programmes by Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) and Taiwan Hai Qing Programmes.

Highlight 4: Free consultati­on on career and study options by Enrich Counsellin­g and Therapy Centre.

Highlight 5: Career Guidance Test (Kudos) at discounted rates by Enrich Counsellin­g and Therapy Centre.
