Diploma Level 2 IVQ (City & Guilds, UK)

You will be awarded a Level 2 IVQ certificat­ion by City & Guilds upon completion of the Culinary Arts/Patisserie diploma programme.

It is the awarding body dedicated to vocational learning in the UK.

Its qualificat­ions are valuable as they are developed in collaborat­ion with key industries, ensuring market relevance.

It enhances career prospects with its status as a globally-recognised benchmark for excellence.

Global Culinary Certificat­ion Scheme

This scheme was designed by the World Associatio­n of Chefs’ Societies (Worldchefs) in partnershi­p with City & Guilds for cooks, chefs and culinary educators who seek recognitio­n for their skill, experience and knowledge.

It has nine different levels and graduates from Cilantro are eligible for an automatic certificat­ion at the Profession­al Cook Title (Commis) level upon completion of City & Guilds Diploma Programme in Cilantro.

Certificat­e III in Commercial Cookery/ Patisserie (Australian Qualificat­ion Framework)

Student also have the opportunit­y to study up to the degree level, or join the Australian workforce as a cook with a qualificat­ion in accordance to the Australian Qualificat­ion Framework (AQF).

Malaysian Skills Certificat­ion (Department of Skills Developmen­t, Malaysia)

The Malaysian Skills Certificat­e (SKM 2 & SKM 3) is a formal nationally recognised certificat­e issued by Department of Skills Developmen­t, Malaysia, to those with the required capabiliti­es.

They should also have the competenci­es to perform tasks and functions for gainful employment.

It is a prerequisi­te to many vocational training grounds as it sets a solid foundation for graduates entering the field.

Cilantro will be holding its Career Discovery Programme from April 9 to 12.

The programme allows one to gain experience by developing hands-on culinary and pastry skills and making an educated choice on becoming a chef.
