The Malaysian Philharmon­ic Orchestra presents Mozart In Prague, which sees the return of Australian conductor Benjamin Northey. The concert will open with Beethoven’s Overture To Coriolan, followed by Piano Concerto No.2. The programme will also feature Ipoh-born Malaysian pianist Loo Bang Hean, who has appeared in recitals, concerto performanc­es and chamber concerts in Malaysia and other Asian countries. They feature individual­s who have perfected their trades and crafts over the years. They include rattan crafters, a songkok maker, mahjong makers, a trishaw maker, goldsmiths and optometris­ts. The videos offer a glimpse into the lives of these unsung heroes and heroines whose lifelong dedication has safeguarde­d the cultural heritage of George Town. Time: Noon to 5.15pm.
