Queen Of Mystery Season 2

THE first season of Queen Of Mystery, featuring the odd crime-busting team of Detective Ha Wan-seung (Kwon Sang-woo) and housewife Yoo Seol-ok (Choi Gang-hee), was a lighthearted mystery drama with funny doses of humour peppered in.

Season Two ups its game with engaging cases, intense scenes, and yes, laugh-out-loud moments.

The story continues from where Season One left off.

Seol-ok has been named honorary police officer for her contribution to crime-solving but she’d rather get into the action than speak to school kids about her role.

She is also trying hard to become a full-fledged police officer but has not been able to pass the exams.

With Seol-ok now divorced, it also clears the way for her and Wan-seung – who clearly have feelings for each other but are too proud to admit it – to advance their relationship.

Detective Wan-seung seems finally able to move past his hang-ups over his ex, whose death was surrounded by mysterious circumstances 17 years ago.

However, the plot thickens when a woman (Lee Da Hee) with the same name as his former girlfriend shows up in his life.

As Wan-seung and Seol-ok continue to pair their brains and instincts together to solve cases, they have to battle corruption and resistance from within the force as well.

Can the two of them break down these barriers to do what detectives are supposed to do, be a voice for the wronged?

And will they finally become a couple? I, for one, am curious to find out. — Wong Li Za
