Siti Nurhaliza launches her own mobile app
KIM Kardashian has one, and so does Taylor swift. Now, you can add Datuk seri siti Nurhaliza Tarudin to the ranks of celebrities who have their own official app – the first local artiste to do so.
The app, available for free on android and iOs platforms, has already garnered over 10,000 downloads.
Catered towards siti’s die hard fans all over the world, the app gives users updates from all of the songstress’ social media sites as well as sneak peeks into her life.
It promises exclusive photos and videos which cannot be found elsewhere but there is a catch. Users have to pay to view the premium content. When you sign up for the app, you will automatically get 3,000 “stars”.
To view an exclusive photo, for example, you will be required to spend about 2,000 stars. Now what do you do when you run out of stars? You purchase them.
You can purchase a minimum of 8,000 stars for Us$0.99 (RM3.85) or get up to 250,000 stars for Us$29.99 (RM116).
Fans can also ask siti questions, which the singer will reportedly answer herself via a short video. But before you can post your question, you have to tell siti how many stars you are willing to “offer” her – 2,000, 4,000, 8,000, 10,000 or 20,000.
Users can also purchase siti’s “preloved” things, or items from her simplysiti costhrough metic line, the app.
In an Instagram post, siti explained the app contains the watermark of the app developer as well as the users e-mail, forewarning that legal action will be taken against any subscriber who shares premium content from the app.
