With that ideal in mind, Dasein Academy of Art was established in 1996 by a team of avid educators and professionals from the art, design and media industry, aspiring towards a future generation dedicated to creative and cultural development for personal enrichment.
Throughout its years advocating individual distinction, Dasein Academy of Art has developed a unique set of teaching principles called edu-mentoring.
Personalised approach
As the word suggests, Dasein Academy of Art has incorporated two key ingredients into its syllabus for developing young minds – teaching plus mentoring to provide a more personalised approach to every teachinglearning relationship. After all, it is through the guidance in self-discovery that the hidden gem of self-value can be unearthed.
So, how does edu-mentoring work? It focuses on the concept that self-value starts from personal virtues. Unlike most mass-teaching institutions, Dasein insists on small-scale classes by limiting each class to 15 to 25 students.
Edu-mentoring enables personalised guidance for students to uncover their inner virtues with better attention and results.
