ADVANCE Tertiary College (ATC) offers diplomas in management and marketing for SPM graduates. These programmes are tailored to provide astute knowledge in the areas of management and marketing.
ATC’s Certificate in Business Studies is accepted as an entry requirement for the prestigious Bachelor of Science in Business and Management programme by the University of London (UOL). Both the diploma and certificate programmes will enable students to pursue their higher education in the area of business or accounting.
ATC offers the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Accountancy (BAcc) in collaboration with Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL).
It also offers a Bachelor of Science in Business and Management (BSc Business and Management) from the prestigious UOL at the Kuala Lumpur and Penang campuses.
The BBA programme focuses on the professional employment skills that students need in a rapidly changing business environment with emphasis on communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
Meanwhile, the BSc Business and Management programme entails subjectspecific knowledge and transferable skills such as creative and critical thinking, problem-solving, self-discipline and organisational methods, strategic thinking and analysis.
The BAcc programme provides sound knowledge in financial accounting, management accounting, taxation and finance. Through industrial placement at established corporations, students will experience a reallife working environment.
This programme is recognised by professional bodies such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, CPA Australia and Malaysian Certified Public Accountants.
The University of London International Programme gives students a competitive edge in the global employment market, too.
UOL graduates have obtained jobs in sectors including banks and financial services companies such as Ernst & Young, Deutsche Bank and Citibank; major technology companies, including Cisco and IBM; international agencies such as the United Nations and World Health Organization; multinational companies such as Panasonic, Sony and Unilever; and various local employers.
In January, ATC celebrated its 28th Grand Convocation Ceremony at Kuala Lumpur City Centre, ushering hundreds of graduates into the workforce.
All programmes offered by ATC are approved by the Malaysian Qualification Agency and Ministry of Higher Education.
Students are also eligible to apply for the PTPTN loan. Students who have completed their diploma studies are eligible for exemptions and are welcome to register for any of the programmes.
