The Faculty of Business, Accounting and Management (Fobam) is the largest and oldest school at SEGi University and Colleges, providing top-quality business education.

Accounting
The accounting programmes prepare learners for professional careers in accounting, taxation and financial management. A bachelor’s degree in this field helps graduates play a constructive role in various industries.
It lets them pursue relevant postgraduate qualifications in accounting and risk management or undertake professional accountancy qualifications from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Fobam offers degrees in accounting and finance in collaboration with the University of Greenwich or University of Sunderland, UK, and a double degree in accounting and finance with two parchments from SEGi University and Abertay University, UK.
Finance
Students will learn the right balance of theory and practice in financial management and emerging trends in the finance industry.
The financial major programme teaches students how to manage finance through its international financial reporting and project management.
Business management
The bachelor’s degree in business management provides students with skills across a range of business disciplines. It prepares them for business operations and management through a balance of conceptual academic structure and hands-on practical experience.
Students can choose a SEGi homegrown degree in business management, a collaborative degree with the University of Sunderland or a double degree in this discipline in collaboration with Abertay University.
Students can also choose one of four areas of specialisation – general management, financial management, marketing management and human resource management – for a competitive professional edge.
Economics with banking
The BA (Hons) Economics with Banking, a collaborative degree with the University of Greenwich, will equip students with the application of economic theory in an international context.
It helps them gain specific knowledge of behaviours and practice of banks and other financial intermediaries, as well as the place of financial systems in the economy.
Marketing
The marketing of any idea, business or product will determine its success. The collaborative degree in marketing offered by SEGi in collaboration with the University of Greenwich will expose students to various techniques to become a flexible and skilled communicator.
Enrichment programme
Inspired by the internationally acclaimed TED Talks series, SEGi University has launched a similar initiative called SEGian Talks.
The talks are aimed at providing a platform for inspiring entrepreneurs and leaders to share their experiences, shape young and bright minds, and motivate students to embark on a similar journey.
It also serves as a platform for business and accounting students to engage in meaningful discussions with industry leaders and connect with the business community.
The new intake is in progress now. SEGi offers financial aid and scholarships to nurture bright talents.
Those with SPM, STPM, UEC or equivalent qualifications can apply for the High Achiever’s Scholarship or Sports Scholarships.
