Route to a medical degree in Russia

-

DR Tan, as he wishes to be known, is a graduate of Russian State Medical University better known as Russian National Research Medical University.

He shares his educational journey:

“As a top student in secondary school, I aspired to be a wellknown doctor but I did not get the scholarship I applied for and all the other medical universities locally and abroad are very costly. Then I came across Medic Ed. They send students to Russia for medical studies at affordable tuition fees. I have never regretted my decision to choose Moscow for my studies.

“Many people are asking about the growing number of Malaysians studying in Russia lately. I think a lot of students are asking themselves, ‘Why not?’

“After all, the cost of studying medicine is high in our own country and compared with somewhere like the United States, Western Europe or Australia, the cost of living is much lower in Russia.

“The courses are now fully in English, the qualifications are internationally recognised and the quality of teaching is comparable with anywhere else.

“Doctors who graduate from Russian medical schools are just as good as any other doctor – there is no difference in terms of quality.

“Being a Medic Ed Consultant student, I had the privilege no other students did in terms of services, welfare and care when I was studying in Moscow. Medic Ed will walk every single step with you from the day you register till the day you get your job.

“Your education pathway to a medical course is laid out nicely as TMC College which is owned by Medic Ed group.

“It offers a direct route to Russian medical universities by offering Foundation in Science with the addition of First Year medical subjects such as Biochemistry, Physiology, Human Anatomy and Basic Russian Language class. No other colleges currently offer such a programme

“I am grateful to Medic Ed for being such great help during my days in Moscow. I have learnt a great deal from the doctor consultants working in Medic Ed.

“For students pondering on the right path to take, take a look at Russian medical schools. Medic Ed welcomes students who seek advice regarding their further studies.”
