Mah Sing is currently working on plans to widen the nearby Jalan Kong Kong to a 40m, four-lane road. A direct exit into the Senai Desaru Expressway has been proposed due to existing connection from the Cahaya Baru toll plaza to Jalan Kong Kong.

Proposed roadworks are to commence next year and will be completed by 2020. Constructi­on in the township itself is expected to be completed in 15 years.

Mah Sing Group held the groundbrea­king ceremony for SJK (C) Sim Mow Yu, the first vernacular school in the township as well as the public preview for Ixora Commercial Centre at the Meridin East Sales Gallery and Show Village officiated by Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai in March.

In addition to allocating the 9.66acre land for the school, Mah Sing will also be building it and targets to complete constructi­on by 2019.

Facilities and amenities to be built in Meridin East include a hospital, secondary and primary schools, internatio­nal schools, playground­s, a childcare centre and a supermarke­t.

Meridin Bayvue: Home by the sea

Located near the coast in Taman Sierra Perdana, Meridin Bayvue is an attractive serviced condominiu­m suitable for small families, with scenic views overlookin­g the Johor Singapore Causeway.

The condominiu­m is located on a 10-acre (4ha) site that features family residences with three bedrooms and quality finishes.
