Medical studies made affordable

-

MEDICINE has been a popular choice of study with many SPM and pre-university leavers aspiring to become doctors.

However, medical studies has always been associated with difficult examinations and expensive tuition fees, dashing the hopes of many.

Without proper guidance and consultation, these bunch of young adults tend to make incorrect decisions on their own. They lack confidence and fear enrolling in the course.

Little do they know medical studies is not difficult as it requires less problem-solving skills, as compared to engineering.

The dropout rate for courses such as actuarial science, accountancy, architecture, engineering, quantity surveying and molecular biology is about the same or higher.

With the right attitude, a medical student will not face problems comprehending the subjects.

If taking up medicine fulfils the students’ passion and ambition, they should be encouraged to take up the course.

Nowadays, medical courses are more affordable with emerging medical universities in countries such as Russia, which have established institutions with a long history.

With the heavy subsidy offered by the Russian Federation government for foreign students, the tuition fees for a medical course starts from RM135,000 for the entire six years.

Also the cost of living is lower in Russia compared to western Europe, Australia and the US.

The courses are conducted in English, the qualifications are internationally recognised and the quality of teaching is comparable to anywhere else.

Medic Ed Consultant Sdn Bhd enables students to enrol in top medical universities in Russia and in Indonesia without hassle.

It offers students a direct path via the Foundation in Science for SPM or O-Levels leavers.

A-Levels or STPM leavers can enrol directly into the medical universities without needing to go through the foundation course as long as they meet basic requirements.

Students can get the appropriate consultation and advice from the doctors in Medic Ed.
