RED by HBO, unifi TV Ch 221, 7.55pm In this Japanese high school version of 50 First Dates, tireless teen Yuki Hase (Kento Yamazaki) falls for amnesiac Kaori Fujimiya (Haruna Kawaguchi) after seeing her on a train. Much like Guy Pearce in Memento, this teenage gal suffers from retrograde and anterograd­e amnesia (though she’s not burdened by the need to avenge her murdered wife). Not taking being treated as an utterly forgettabl­e guy to heart, Yuki keeps on trying to be her friend. Will Kaori be able to form lasting memories, will the two end up together, and will this movie end up in your lasting memories?

Teen Wolf

Fox Movies, Astro Ch 413/HD Ch 433/unifi TV Ch 401, 8pm In this cheesy 80s teen comedy, Michael J. Fox continues his streak of roles as a charming, roguish teenager. Instead of time travel with a wacky professor, his character Scott Howard discovers his family’s heritage lycanthrop­y. Unlike the darker and edgier 2011 TV series, the hair-brained teen uses his powers to be awesome at basketball, beating his school rival Mick McAllister (Mark Arnold) and winning the girl, who luckily isn’t torn between him and a sparkly vampire.

Fox HD, Astro Ch 724/unifi TV Ch 453, 9pm Hoax - In the finale of the first season, Hondo Harrelson’s (Shemar Moore) team of elite officers are on the hunt to stop a white supremacy group from executing bombing attacks on local communitie­s. At the same time, one of his men, Street (Alex Russell) has to deal with a complicate­d relationsh­ip with his recently paroled mother, Karen (Sherilyn Fenn). Guest star Obba Babatundé also returns as Hondo’s father, Daniel Harrelson. Discovery Science, Astro Ch 554, 9.50pm Get ready to bust more myths with this ragtag team of mad scientist and special effects specialist. In the 11th season, the Mythbuster­s return with a new team lead by Brian Louden and Jon Lung and separate fact from fiction in spectacula­r style with a dazzling array of epic and raucous experiment­s involving combustibl­e gas tanks, water-heater torpedoes, and lard of course.

The Doctors

ntv7, Astro Ch 107/HyppTV Ch 107, 4pm In this South Korean medical drama, prickly, teenage gangster Yoo Hye-jung (Park Shin-hye) has a change of heart thanks to the guidance of her biology teacher Hong Ji-hong (Kim Rae-won). After 13 years, the two meet again and sparks fly as Hong feels enough time has passed for it not to be creepy to chase after a former highschool student. Also they’re both doctors now and the whole cast are neurosurge­ons to boot.
