The Definitive Rat Pack comes flying to KL

-

COME fly to the moon with The Definitive Rat Pack this July, when the hit London West End show comes to Kuala Lumpur for the first time ever.

Presented by British Theatre Playhouse in collaboration with WorldWide Entertainment UK, The Definitive Rat Pack will be playing at the KL Hilton on July 1 at 8pm.

The show features the original British cast that earned an Olivier Award nomination when it premiered in London’s West End in 2003, as well as special guest “Nancy Sinatra”.

The original Rat Pack epitomised “cool” in the 1960s, with their impromptu sell out shows causing a stir that attracted the rich and famous.

It was a must-have ticket to see the three artists (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr) joke and sing some of the finest songs ever written, which include I’ve Got You Under My Skin, Fly Me To The Moon, Come Fly With Me, That’s Amore, Something’s Gotta Give, Mack The Knife, My Way, New York, New York and many more.

The three stars of the show – Stephen Triffitt, Mark Adams and George Daniel Long – are undoubtedly some of the world’s finest interpreters of Sinatra, Martin and Davis Jr, and they have been performing these roles for more than 10 years not only at London’s West End, also in other venues in the United States, Canada and Europe.

Tickets for the show are priced at RM188, RM288, RM388 and RM488. To purchase, call 03-9222 8811 or visit www.ticketcharge.com.my.

There is a 10% early bird discount for tickets purchased before June 1.

The British Theatre Playhouse will also be supporting Persatuan Pengasih Malaysia’s fund raising initiatives in conjunction with its efforts to support United Nation’s International Day of Drug Abuse.

Charity tickets are available from RM5,000 onwards per table of 10 which is inclusive of a sit down pre-show dinner. — Michael Cheang
