Guns N’ Roses is on a night train to Malaysia
GET ready to rock out in the November Rain, because Kuala Lumpur is set to become Paradise City when legendary Guns N’ Roses plays here in November!
The band first announced the show in an update on their Facebook page last week, with Kuala Lumpur included in a list of upcoming shows under its currently ongoing Not In This Lifetime world tour.
Concert organisers Galaxy Group confirmed that the concert will be held at 8pm, November 14 at Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
While Guns N’ Roses has played in Malaysia before (at the after-race party in Sepang in 2013), this will be the first time that the classic line-up of Axl Rose, Slash (who has performed in KL solo a couple of times before) and Duff McKagan is coming here.
Slash and McKagen rejoined the band in 2016, the first time they are playing together with Rose since the Use Your Illusion Tour in 1993.
The rest of the band includes Dizzy Reed (keyboard), Richard Fortus (rhythm guitar), Frank Ferrer (drums), and Melissa Reese (keyboard).
Tickets are priced at RM1288, RM988, RM688, RM488, RM288, and will be available to the public via BuyTickets (buytickets.com.my) from 10am, June 2 onwards.
Members of the Guns N’ Roses Fan Club will have exclusive access to purchase pre-sale tickets beginning Friday, June 1 at 10am.
