WITH Hari Raya just around the corner, Sunway Putra Mall welcomes visitors with Summer Sama Raya, a vibrant Moroccaninspired campaign featuring bright summer hues, from now to June 20.
With the mall transformed into a dazzling Moroccan souk, visitors will be transported to the fascinating city of Marrakesh.
Visitors are welcomed with a lighted entrance leading to the Main Concourse, which has been decked out with a scenic structure of old buildings with bright splashes of colours, making it an ideal place for photo opportunities.
To enhance the festive atmosphere, street lighting has been put up around the mall as well.
In terms of decorations, the Main Concourse offers a unique Moroccan-style shopping experience, from the interior courtyards, wooden doors and floral arabesques to vibrant stained glass lamps and even life-sized camels.
Visitors have the opportunity to walk through the interesting Artsy Rooms at the Main Concourse. As they walk through the wooden doors of the villa, they are greeted by a waterfall of multi-hued ribbons resembling the colours of life, followed by a triangular room filled with beautiful stained glass lamps showcasing the beauty of Moroccan art.
Visitors are then led into another room filled with the striking patterns and colours of Moroccan decorative plates and bowls.
These rooms are inspired by creative themes complementing the Raya decor and are also an ideal spot for selfies.
Adding more excitement to the festive season is a variety of Raya offerings and promotions. At the Main Concourse, explore clothing choices by homegrown fashion designers such as Salikin Sidek, Bohari KL and Que Rahman.
Meanwhile, the Marrakesh Bazaar at the East Wing offers handmade batik, assorted delights, gift hampers and handcrafted accessories by Kraftangan Malaysia.
Explore the myriad offerings ranging from fresh orchids at the Flower Market located on the ground floor to home decorations at SSF Home (Level 5).
To add merriment to the festivities, visitors will be entertained by an array of performances ranging from musical recitals to traditional arts and crafts workshops by Kraftangan Malaysia.

Visitors also get to redeem one set of exclusive Raya bowls with minimum spending of RM400 (RM300 for HSBC credit cardholders and Sunway Pals members) in three receipts or Sunway Malls Raya packets when they spend RM250 (RM150 for HSBC credit cardholders and Sunway Pals members) in two receipts.
There will also be free Raya packets for HSBC new credit card sign-ups with any amount spent.
On top of that, diners who spend a minimum of RM30 in a single receipt at any food and beverage outlet get to redeem RM5 Selera Street Cash Dollars.
