Raya celebration with a modern twist
FROM now till June 12, the family and kid-friendly Quill City Mall Kuala Lumpur along Jalan Sultan Ismail presents Yasss Raya 2018, a celebration with a modern theme featuring pastel colours and neon lights.
There are grass carpet areas at the Main Atrium for Muslims to break fast and colourful beanbags to relax on. Sparkling lights enhance the festive atmosphere, making it an ideal location for selfies and wefies.
The grand launch of Yasss Raya 2018 began with an opening dance performance, after which Quill Group of Companies group executive director Datuk Michael Ong delivered a speech.
Malaysian band IamNEETA serenaded guests, with other artistes such as Annas Easkey, Anzalna Nasir, Azura Mazaruddin, Hafiza Hamid, Hafiz Mahamad, Yaya Zahir, Rafidah, Yana Khairuddin and Hazwan Faiz making an appearance.
As part of its corporate social responsibility initiative, Quill City Mall KL welcomed 50 children from Pertubuhan Kebajikan and Penjagaan Nur Hidayah for a buka puasa feast. The children were also invited to join the upcoming Raya celebrations at the mall.
Hari Raya contests and promotions
Visitors to Quill City Mall KL have the chance to take part in activities such as the Redemption of Yasss Raya packets, Yasss Raya Lucky Grab, Carousel Ride and Yasss Raya Photo Contest. They also stand a chance to redeem limited edition products and win attractive prizes (terms and conditions apply).
The Yasss Raya Photo Contest runs from now till June 12. One photo is equivalent to one entry. Participants are entitled to unlimited entries and three randomly selected winners will receive Quill City Mall KL shopping cash vouchers worth RM500.
Shoppers can also sell wearable clothing with Refash and get paid in Quill City Mall KL vouchers.
