THIS Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Sunway Pyramid brings the radiance of the festive season to life in the form of bamboo and lights, creating an ambience like no other.
From now until June 24, visitors to the mall can enjoy the beautiful decorations and exciting redemptions.
In a mix of the old and new, the simple art of bamboo is made unique with intricate handmade carvings and lights.
Artist and former lecturer Mior Mohd Nafis, whose credits include a sculpture at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, created the artwork at the centrepiece of the concourse.
Children and adults can reminisce about the good old days at the play corner, where they can play congkak and batu seremban.
Shoppers will also be able to take home instant memories by getting their pictures taken with loved ones at the special photo booth, which is operational all month long.
Shoppers get to redeem The Gift of Batik with a minimum spending of RM500 (RM400 for HSBC Credit Cardholders) in two receipts.
The Gift of Batik is produced by The Batik Boutique and goes back to a good cause.
Sunway Pyramid is working with The Batik Boutique to empower hundreds of local artisans by offering them a fair and sustainable income producing beautiful and high-quality batik fashion.
To date, more than 150 artisans have worked with The Batik Boutique to gain a fair, sustainable income and marketable skills.
In 2015, The Batik Boutique established a sewing centre in the community where their artisans live to make working more convenient and eliminate the need for transport and childcare.
Additionally, fresh dates and bottles of drinking water are available throughout Ramadan at concierge counters for fasting shoppers in preparation to break fast.
A list of halal restaurants is also available for shoppers’ convenience.

For the convenience of parents, a baby room equipped with a private nursing room is available.
