Bangsawan touch to Raya celebration
HARI Raya Aidilfitri is the time of year for families and friends to get together, share and care. And at Queensbay Mall, the scene is set for joyful festivities with a touch of grandeur.
This year, decorations and events take on a Bangsawan theme honouring the Malay noblemen culture of olden days. A palace-like courtyard has sprung up at the Central Atrium, complete with refined workmanship.
It will be the stage for mesmerising Gamelan and colourful Malay dance performances throughout the month, leading up to the 1st of Syawal.
The festive event line-up kicked off with the ‘Kasih Aidilfitri’ Majlis Berbuka Puasa last Saturday where 50 children from the Pertubuhan Kebajikan Nasyiatul Aisyiyah were treated to a heartwarming gathering at the mall.
The home was presented with a RM3,000 donation, while each child received Raya goodies from AEON Queensbay Mall as well as duit raya from Shashas Collection. The group then broke fast at The Chicken Rice Shop.
The highlight of the month will be the Pandora Jewellery Showcase happening on June 9.
Be at the Central Atrium at 3pm to see models parade glittering jewellery from Pandora, matched with the latest Hari Raya apparels from Shashas Collection.
