My loving father

-

MY father, Manimuttu, is from Penang. After he married my mother, he settled down in Kuala Lumpur.

There are many things I would like to share about my father.

My Ammachi (grandmother) and aunties describe him as a very kind and accommodating person. Dad is supportive and we can count on him for anything.

My relatives often say: “Tanusya, you are so lucky to have a father who cares for you every moment of your life.”

The best thing about my father is he is very protective of his family, especially me.

I have always been his top priority in life. He is a dedicated and helpful person. He supports me in all my activities, projects, exam preparations and other activities.

The most recent thing I learnt from my father was how to solve fraction problems, the easy way. Thanks to Dad’s teaching, I could understand the whole chapter in 15 minutes. My beloved father is a Maths and Science tutor too.

He is also an environmental friendly person. He encourages me to use lots of recycled items.

Recently, he taught me how to make LED lights with recycled cable and a tube light. I have learnt how to make wooden toy cars using recycled wooden pallets.

Spending time with my father enables me to develop my learning skills.

I’m so blessed to have a great father like him. – By Tanusya Manimuttu, 10.
