WOULD you like to share your hopes for the new government with Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad?
Unicef Malaysia has launched the #lettertomypm project on Instagram for children and young people to let Tun Dr Mahathir know what they want from his new government.
It’s another opportunity for children to exercise their rights to be heard and share the aspirations and wishes of the future generation.
So far, 170 #lettertomypm letters written by children have been posted.
You can take part too.
To participate, write your message to our prime minister on a piece of square colour paper, using an ink pen.
Snap a photo of your message and upload it on your Instagram page.
Write your post. Include a first name or nickname as well as your age and your state. Tag @chedetofficial and @unicefmalaysia in the photo.
Include the hashtags #lettertomypm and #children4change.
For children who do not have an Instagram account, send a photo of your message and include your details (first name/nickname, age, state) via a direct message to Unicef Malaysia’s facebook account (https://www.facebook.com/unicef. malaysia/).
Children with a private Instagram account can send a direct message to Unicef Malaysia’s Instagram account.
