WE received many responses to the topic: If I Had A Milion Ringgit. Let’s hear what our young readers have to say.

Madeline Goh, 11, is very passionate about helping those in need. She writes: “If I had a million ringgit, I would donate all the money to charity.”

“If I was given a million ringgit, I’d use half of it to start an orphanage. I’d provide the children with skills necessary for survival and donate the remaining half,” says Tay Jia Qi, nine.

Irwan Arufa, 11, would generously give away 50% of the million ringgit to charity, and save the remainder in the bank.

Nine-year-old Dayang Sur Salsabilla, aspires to help his village. He writes, “If I had a million ringgit, I’d build a bridge across the river and construct good roads. Also, I’d build more brick houses and plant many flowers.”

With the newly-found wealth, Chong Xin Lin, 11, intends to help needy children and the elderly.

“With a million ringgit, I would give it away to a nursing home. It would allow them to have good furniture and be comfortabl­e,” says Koh Wan Jun, nine.

“If I had a miliion ringgit, I would build new facilities in my school, to be enjoyed by all the children,” writes Beh Faye Vee, seven.

Gan Mei Na, seven, would take her mother for a holiday. She would buy a plane ticket for her mum in Vietnam, and take her shopping for beautiful clothes.

Gideon Immanuel Andrew David, nine writes: “With a million ringgit, I hope to buy a house for my family. For myself, I would buy a Jaguar car.”

Putri Dhia Darwisya, 9, would love to

travel. “Because I like swimming, I’d go on a vacation to waterparks such as Legoland (Johor Bahru), Sunway Lagoon (Selangor ) and A Famosa (Melaka), if i had a million ringgit.”

If Lee Yun Wah, 11, had a million ringgit, he’d spoil himself. “If I got a million ringgit, I’d buy a sports car and the latest smartphone. The rest of the money would be saved in the bank for future use.”
