If I were an umbrella designer
UMBRELLA designing turned out to be popular with our young readers. Here are more of their umbrella designs.
Chong Xin Lin, 11, says, “My designer umbrella will be called the ‘special umbrella’. I’d use it to fly anytime. There will also be a button that would give out sweets.”
Chong Yu Xuan, 11, likes spending time out on the ocean. “My umbrella is special as it can change into a boat when I’m out at sea.”
“My special umbrella design has a torch on it. That way, it can light my way in the dark,” writes Yvonne Ong, nine.
Anastasia Lau Chia Xin, nine, says, “My favourite food is mushrooms, so my umbrella will be shaped like one.”
Nine year old, Ethan Chin Haw Wen would design umbrellas that are colourful and bring joy to everyone who uses them. “Because we use umbrellas everyday, I would design umbrellas of different colours to make all the people happy.”
“My designer umbrella would have wings, so that I could fly anytime,” writes Yua Ven, eight Hani Zuhayrah, 10 says “I’d design an umbrella that would shelter me from the sun. It should be very colourful as well.”
